Three Tricks To Get More From WhatsApp

Hey friends, welcome back. It's been a long while from the last post. Let's have some WhatsApp tricks. We all like to connect on WhatsApp. We spend hours on it. But we don't know how to get the most out of it. Let's use it more efficiently. In this post there are three tricks which are worth knowing to do on WhatsApp.

1. Use Fingerprint/Touch/Face ID to unlock WhatsApp:

> On Android

Though WhatsApp has much privacy, some times we worry that our friends/relatives will see our data. To prevent this we can your a barrier via unlock feature of our phones. Bellow are the steps to do it on Android as well on Apple devices.

Settings > Account > Privacy > Screen Lock > Toggle on Require Fingerprint Scanner > Select the time duration (Immediately, after a minute, after 15 minutes or after an hour).

> On Apple

Settings > Account > Privacy > Screen Lock > Toggle on Require Face ID / Require Touch ID > Select the time duration (Immediately, after a minute, after 15 minutes or after an hour).

2. Send a voice note without hands:

Instead of typing out a message on WhatsApp, you can press and hold the microphone to the right of the message input box to send a voice note. To record your message without holding your phone, it is also possible to lock the microphone button down.

> On Android/Apple

Chats > Specific chat > Tap the microphone on the right of the message box > Press and hold the microphone > Swipe up to the lock

3. Pin a chat to the top:

Instead of simply marking a chat as unread, you may pin it so that it always displays at the top of all of your chats, above new and unread chats, if you tend to forget to reply to messages. However, you can only pin three conversations, so don't become accustomed to responding quickly.

> On Android

Chats > Swipe left to right > Pin chat

> On Apple
Long press chat > Press the pin at the top of the screen
